Let's Cope Counseling Services, PLLC, was founded in February 2019. Let’s Cope Counseling Services was created to provide culturally competent, holistic, and wellness-focused services that promote the social-emotional development and address social-emotional problems that currently exist. Let’s Cope Counseling Services is committed to the wellness of individuals, their families, and the community through prevention, intervention, treatment, and education.

Javonte' Speaks is a native of New Bern, North Carolina. She graduated from Elizabeth City State University in 2012, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Afterward, she received a Masters's degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Javonte’ currently resides in the RDU area of North Carolina, where she is a mother, wife, business owner, psychotherapist, qualified supervisor, community activist, and philanthropist. Javonte’ provides workshops and seminars and hosts mental health panels and speaking engagements. Javonte’ holds an annual mental health event called "Let's Cope," where she provides free psycho-education and coping skill resources for children to use when they return to school. In 2022 Javonte’ was nominated and selected as one of the top 100 of 500+ nominees for the Boris L. Henson Can We Talk? Symposium & Joy Awards. An organization founded by actress and mental health advocate Taraji P. Henson. Javonte’s community service doesn’t stop with mental health. In 2018 after the destruction of Hurricane Florence, Javonte’ rented two 16’ U-Haul trucks where she collected donations for the victims in her hometown (New Bern, North Carolina). For her efforts, she received the highest award, The President's award, from the Craven County NAACP Chapter.
